Trump as Dictator and
Hitler-like Figure

The title of this essay may seem a bit strong and extreme.  Unfortunately, the reality is that it does fit with where our country is at this point in time.

It is so hard to believe that within the next several days America might be electing a Hitler-like figure as its next president.  People in high levels who have served on Trump’s staff and have worked closely with him in his first term believe this to be true.   As Harris has recently said, their warning is a 911 call to all Americans.

Trump has said he plans on being a dictator.  He admires and talks highly of such world dictators as Putin of Russia and Kim Jong Un of North Korea.

John Kelly, a 4-star general and the man Trump selected to be his chief of staff and did so from 2017 to 2019, his right-hand man, has recently said Trump fits the definition of a fascist (Hitler was a fascist but see definition below). It is reported by Kelly that while in office Trump made comment that he wished he had the generals Hitler had.

Also, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley, has recently been quoted as saying that “No one has been as dangerous to this country as Donald Trump.”

See the links below that support and expand on the above.  Also below is a definition of fascism*, a term frequently passed around but perhaps not clearly understood.

*Definition of fascism.
According to ABC News, John Kelly in an interview with the New York Times defined fascism like this.  "Well, looking at the definition of fascism: It's a far-right authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy," he told The Times.”
